Good engineering of Hypoid Reducer practices dictate the criticality of bearing hole locations and size. Correct alignment of the bearing holes enables us to provide the proper gear mesh of the gear teeth and prevent binding in the gear train. Designing in correct bearing hole sizes for very tight tolerances allows us to insure the bearings have a good fit to hold the bearings' outside races. Done correctly this fit also allows for the inside bearing races to rotate freely. Hypoid speed gearbox utilizing optimized gear software allows us to determine the correct contact gear patterns and saves time and money in designing a new gearbox.
