A high speed housing of the Wuma gear reduction motor is adapted for removable mounting on an end of the enclosure and the high speed housing supports a horizontal input shaft and may further support horizontal intermediate shafts. In this manner, the enclosure functions to support gearing of a variety of degrees of speed reduction and double, triple and quadruple reduction units may be formed employing the enclosure together with an appropriate high speed housing.
Thus, a complete line of speed variator requires the stocking of substantially fewer components.
